Meet the state's new economic development secretary

Gov. Maura Healey this week appointed Eric Paley to take over as economic development secretary.

He's a venture capitalist who previously co-founded a tech company.

Paley spoke with WBUR's All Things Considered about how he’ll work to grow the Massachusetts economy. His own business story provides a good starting point.
