New YA book follows 3 LGBTQ teens on an adventure in 19th century Mass.

The new young adult book “Devils Like Us” is an LGBTQ coming-of-age story. Three characters named Cas, Remy and Finn go on an adventure that takes them to sea.

It mixes fantasy and adventure, all set in 19th century Massachusetts and New England.

The author, L.T. Thompson, was a children’s librarian at the Boston Public Library. They joined WBUR's All Things Considered to talk about the book.
