Amid Red Line car seizure, Eng says the T's relationship with the feds is strong

Last month, federal officials seized a shipment of much-needed new MBTA Red Line cars from China to investigate if they were made using forced labor.

Now, weeks later, those cars are still sitting half-assembled at the port of Philadelphia.

But Phil Eng, the T's general manager, tells WBUR's Morning Edition he isn’t concerned about the holdup.
