Vote for your favorite local 2026 NPR Tiny Desk Contest entry

The trees are budding, the flowers are blooming, and we are on the hunt for WBUR’s Favorite Local Tiny Desk Entry. It’s our annual competition-within-a-competition: while NPR searches for the winner of its Tiny Desk Contest, our panel of local judges selects WBUR’s favorite entry from Massachusetts.

There were 184 Massachusetts entries to the national contest: R&B singers, blues bands, a jazz vibraphonist and more. All are independent artists, and all submitted a video performance of an original song. We’ve managed to whittle down the list to 22 local finalists.

While our panelists deliberate, we invite you to cast your vote. The Fan Favorite will be profiled alongside the panel-selected Local Tiny Desk Favorite in June. Voting closes at 11:59 p.m. EDT on May 3.
