Rob Lowe's family moved to California when he was a teenager, where he became fast friends with the likes of Charlie Sheen and Emilio Estevez. "For the first time, I met people my own age that wanted to act and that wanted to be filmmakers," he says. "It was great to fall in with a crowd that had similar likes."
