Both sides of the negotiations in the NBA lockout are still refusing to budge on several key issues; the result is more lost games, and possibly a lost season. Are NBA owners really willing to scrap the entire season in order to have things their way? Only a Game analyst Charlie Pierce tackles this topic. Also, Charlie weighs in on the objections made after Dirk Nowitzki of the Dallas Mavericks was selected to throw out the first pitch of Game 3 of the World Series in Texas. He also reveals which sport is now using blood testing to discover what predisposes athletes to injuries, and the scandal involving the Grand Champion goat at the Colorado State Fair.

This segment aired on October 22, 2011.
