Seasons in the Sun by Terry Jacks (from Have A Nice Day: Super Hits of the 70's, Vol. 12, Rhino, 1990)

JacksManiacs already know the answer to this, but can you name the B Side to Seasons in the Sun? It was the most brazen double entendre of its time. I can still hear the pre-adolescent snickers.

David Beckham Superstar by Cardio Workout Crew (from Top 50 Workout Hits, Big Eye Music, 2009)

What's better than a boring old hit? Why, it's a workout hit. With Beckham mentioned in it several times.

Porcelain Throne by Two Ton Boa (from Parasiticide, Kill Rock Stars, 2009)

Yes, we're NPR, but we stand with the people who want a bit of toilet humor now and then amidst all that high falutin' braniac mumbo jumbo.

Carol of the Bells by The O'Jays (from Home for Christmas, Capitol, 1991)

I've always found this carol to be curiously annoying, and I'm tired of the cliché Victorian and Edwardian arrangements, so we're gonna let the marvelous O'Jays shake things up. Now if they would only do Chanukah songs...

Dodgeball by Jenks (from School Rocks!, Jenks Music, 2010)

Funny, but I couldn’t find any songs about trampoline dodgeball.

This segment aired on November 24, 2012. The audio for this segment is not available.
