Music On Only A Game
I believe Connie Smith was sometimes called “Country” Connie Smith. This is redundant. She sang songs with titles like “The Hurtin’s All Over” and “Ain’t Had No Lovin’.” What was she going to be called? “Classical” Connie Smith?
She also sang “Cincinnati, Ohio,” which is from "Connie Smith Sings Bill Anderson" (1967). That’s the number we used in this week’s show. We hope you enjoy it. Now you all come back soon.
