On Thursday, a federal judge ruled against the NFL in the "Deflategate" case, nullifying the four-game suspension of Patriots quarterback Tom Brady. The reaction on Twitter from NFL analysts, Pats fans and even some New England politicians was swift:

Safe to say Judge Berman wasn't playing the role of devil's advocate when he seemed completely underwhelmed by the NFL's legal arguments.

The NFL is likely to appeal Berman's decision to the second court quickly. Immediate question becomes whether they seek a stay.

Biggest Brady takeaway for me is Goodell's powers as an arbitrator are DONE. No more "judge, jury & executioner" for Goodell even if in CBA.
— Dave Zirin (@EdgeofSports) September 3, 2015This is a huge win for Tom Brady, but even bigger win for NFLPA. Next time a player is suspended without real evidence, they'll go to court.— Michael McCann (@McCannSportsLaw) September 3, 2015

No suspension - Tom Brady gets to play football. I'm glad it's over and I agree with the Judge's decision. #PatriotsNation
