Resume
photoRalph Nader set out to set the Democratic Party straight in the 2000 presidential campaign. Many from the party blame him for the Bush victory, while supporters give him credit for keeping Democrats true to their mandate. Will he run again in 2004? If he does, some say it will crush Democratic hopes of victory.

Progressives on the left of the party claim that the Democrats have no chance of winning without addressing the issues that Nader brings to the table. Going soft on the war, corporate cronyism and conflicts of interest is a recipe for Democratic demise in the eyes of the left, and they are determined to push that message into the 2004 election.
