Olympian Goal Reached

Kendrick Farris started lifting weights when he was 11 years old. This week, he's off to his second Olympic Games in London and — thanks to surprisingly successful fund-raising campaign — he'll be joined by some of his family who've helped him get there.
Farris was on the show in June to talk about his traininig and his plans to lift around 480 pounds in London. He also pitched his fundraising effort, talking about the importance of his family over the years. "Take you time, baby," Farris said his mother tells him during events. "It keeps me calm." Thanks to the generosity of his fans, ten of Farris's family members will travel to London with him to cheer him on.
Good luck, Kendrick!
