A Virtual Stroll Through The Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum
PlayThe Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum is one of Boston's treasured cultural institutions — a Venetian-style palace with a majestic courtyard and a vast international art collection. And now, you can take it all in from the privacy of your own home, or from any computer just about anywhere.
This week, the museum launched a new collaboration with the Google Cultural Institute that will allow viewers to tour the museum's galleries virtually. Sebastian Smee, Pulitzer Prize-winning art critic for The Boston Globe, joins us to share his thoughts on the project.
