Goodbye Johnny D's: Davis Square Music Club Hosted Legendary Musicians Since 1969

After this weekend, Johnny D's Uptown Restaurant and Music Club in Davis Square will be closed. A number of storied musicians have played the Johnny D's stage in the 46 years it was open — among them: Alison Krauss, Ben Harper, the Dixie Chicks and Jeff Buckley — whose 1993 recordings, which were recently discovered in the Sony Music archives, were released today.
