Marc Maron has been a stand-up comedian for decades, but it's possible you first heard of him for his long-form interviews with other comedians, actors, artists, musicians — even President Obama last year.

They're guests on his podcast "WTF with Marc Maron." He records the show in his garage in Los Angeles.

Maron's IFC show "Maron," which he starred in, also had its series finale this summer after four seasons.

We spoke to him from LA.

Maron will be performing two stand-up shows Saturday at The Wilbur.
