Even though recreational cannabis can be legally sold in Massachusetts starting on Sunday, there won't be any sales, as regulators still have to approve and license an independent testing laboratory.

Plus, a decision by Attorney General Maura Healey could mean local officials can prohibit cannabis companies for at least another year without polling residents. What does all of this mean for the rollout of recreational cannabis sales?
