'Cat Person' Writer Explores Gender, Power, Sex In New Short Story Collection

A little over a year ago, writer Kristen Roupenian was celebrating that the New Yorker published her short story "Cat Person."

The story took off and so did Roupenian's career. Now the Massachusetts native has a million-dollar two-book deal and continues to write about sex, relationships and power.

Her first book — a short story collection that includes "Cat Person" — is titled "You Know You Want This."
