We remember a small moment in the life of 23-year-old Jassy Correia.

Correia was found dead after an alleged kidnapping after a night out celebrating her birthday at a Boston nightclub.

Boston Globe photographer John Tlumacki had, by chance last year, taken a photograph that captured the love between Jassy and her then-18-month-old daughter. We hear his memory of the afternoon and the young woman.

Guest

John Tlumacki, photographer for The Boston Globe

This segment aired on March 5, 2019.
