The Federal Reserve is moving ahead with a plan to roll back some of the reforms that followed last decade's financial crisis. But recent meeting minutes show that Fed board members are sharply divided.

This comes as President Trump puts forward two polarizing nominees for the Fed's Board of Governors ... including pizza mogul and former presidential candidate Herman Cain.

The president also is taking swipes at the Fed chairman he picked for raising interest rates.
