Plymouth Braces For Pilgrim Nuclear Power Plant's End

The Pilgrim Nuclear Power Plant is set to close at the end of May.

That's after 46 years in operation, during which the plant has weathered court battles, emergency closings and protests over its safety and environmental impact.

But for residents, the Pilgrim nuclear power plant has also provided electricity, jobs and revenue for the town of Plymouth. They're not just losing a nuclear power plant when Pilgrim closes its doors — they're losing one of their largest economic engines.
