The Boston school committee voted Wednesday night to make Brenda Cassellius the next superintendent of Boston Public Schools. The vote came one week after three finalists each spent a day answering interview questions in a public setting. Prior to the vote, Cassellius had been praised by parents, educators, and community members, and also received an endorsement from the Citywide Parent Council.
