Cannabis Control Commissioner Shaleen Title On The Push For A More Inclusive Marijuana Industry

In Massachusetts, there are at least 19 pot stores that have a license to sell recreational weed. But as The Boston Globe reported last week, not a single one involves an applicant from the state's social equity or economic empowerment programs.

This can't come as great news for Shaleen Title, one of five commissioners on the Cannabis Control Commission. Titles occupies the social justice seat on the commission and works to increase access and equity in the industry.
