BoJack Horseman, which stars Will Arnett, is about a horse who battles depression, substance abuse, and the tantalizing short-lived nature of fame and relevance in Hollywood. The critically acclaimed animated Netflix series oscillates from the deeply tragic to the wonderfully silly.

We speak with creator Raphael Bob-Waksberg about the cartoon and his new collection of short stories.

Raphael Bob-Waksberg will be at the Brattle Theatre on Friday at 6 p.m.

Guest

Raphael Bob-Waksberg, creator and executive producer of BoJack Horseman. He's also the author of a new collection of short stories, titled "Someone Who Will Love You In All Your Damaged Glory: Stories." He tweets @raphaelbw.
