BoJack Horseman, which stars Will Arnett, is about a horse who battles depression, substance abuse, and the tantalizing short-lived nature of fame and relevance in Hollywood. The critically acclaimed animated Netflix series oscillates from the deeply tragic to the wonderfully silly.

We speak with creator Raphael Bob-Waksberg about the cartoon and his new collection of short stories.
