What Is Going On With All The Fireworks?

From Boston, to Salem, to New Bedford, authorities are reporting a massive uptick in firework complaints this year. Boston Mayor Marty Walsh says complaints in the city through the month of May were up more than 2,000% from last year.

So what exactly is going on?

We take listener calls and discuss with Salem Mayor Kim Driscoll and Laquisa Burke, president of the West of Washington Coalition, a neighborhood group in Dorchester. We also speak with Bill Forry, editor and publisher of the Dorchester Reporter.
