Ask The Doctors: What A New Variant Of COVID Means For Massachusetts
ResumeOn Sunday, officials confirmed the first case of a new variant of COVID here in Massachusetts: a Boston woman in her 20's, who traveled to the United Kingdom earlier this month. The new variant is believed to be much more contagious, with some studies suggesting it could increase the likelihood of transmission by as much as 50 percent.
