Healthcare Workers Reflect On One Year Of The COVID-19 Pandemic

In our special hour marking the arrival of the coronavirus in Massachusetts, we talk to two healthcare workers about what it was like to be on the front lines fighting the pandemic in a year that brought unprecedented challenges to medical providers.

We hear from Dr. Benjamin Linas, an infectious disease physician and Associate Professor of Medicine and Epidemiology at the Boston University School of Medicine. We also check back in with Marlena Pellegrino, a frontline medical surgical nurse at St. Vincent Hospital and also co-chair of the nurses local bargaining unit with the Massachusetts Nurses Association at her hospital.
