It's the second week of fall in New England, which means the leaves are starting to turn into brilliant shades of red, yellow, and orange.

For so-called leaf peepers, it's like Christmas morning.

We hear what this season's foliage will look like and when it's expected to peak from WBUR meteorologist Dave Epstein. Then, we take your calls on your favorite places to see the region's turning leaves with Jeff and Lisa Folger, also known as Mr. and Mrs. Foliage. They document their foliage trips on their blog New England Fall Foliage.

This segment aired on September 29, 2021.
