Local physician pushes back on vaccine misinformation on Joe Rogan show
ResumeOn Monday, we had a conversation all about Spotify, from how the platform works, to how artists on it are compensated. At the center of it all, though, was Joe Rogan and his podcast.
Spotify spent the first few weeks of this year under fire from listeners and artists alike, including names like Neil Young and Joni Mitchell, for letting Rogan's show stay on the platform when it included COVID-19 vaccine misinformation.
Spotify eventually did remove nearly 70 episodes of the Joe Rogan podcast from their platform, but they weren't the only ones giving and getting pushback.
In late December, Dr. John Abramson, a local family physician and lecturer at Harvard Medical School, joined Joe Rogan on the podcast to push back on some of the vaccine misinformation. He joined us to talk about his own Joe Rogan experience.
This segment aired on February 10, 2022.
