The city of Boston has pledged $1 million to support local artist Wen-ti Tsen's most  ambitious art project to date: four large statues celebrating the working-class and immigrant communities that call Boston's Chinatown home.

It's a project meant to honor workers whose stories have been overlooked, but also to permanently mark a neighborhood that is threatened by gentrification.

This segment aired on May 16, 2022.
