New program helps Afghan refugees find jobs in Worcester

A new program at the UMass Chan Medical School in Worcester is helping resettled refugees from Afghanistan find jobs.

First, we speak with two brothers who are taking part in the program, Shakib and Waden Malikzai, who came here after the U.S. withdrew troops from Afghanistan. Joining them for translation and more information is Dr. Muhammad Ramzan, director of social services at the Worcester Islamic Center. Then, we hear more about the program from the man who created it, Jeff Carson, the vice chancellor of human resources at the UMass Chan Medical School.
