Nearly half of crops in Massachusetts rely on pollinators like bees, according to the state's Department of Agricultural Resources. Meanwhile, beekeepers are reporting a decline in bee populations. We speak a local entrepreneur who is serving grilled cheese to save the bees, and discuss bee conservation with the authority on beekeeping in the commonwealth, the state's apiarist who has a doctorate in entomology.
