How one Medford man changed the way we experience music festivals
When you go to a music festival, no matter where you are in the audience you can hear the instruments and the song lyrics. It didn't always used to be this way. And it's all thanks to Bill Hanley, of Medford.
We talk with him, and explore his impact and legacy as the father of festival with John Kane, author of the book "The Last Seat in the House."
Bill Hanley and author John Kane will be at the Medford Public Library on Dec. 1 for a book signing and preview of a documentary about Hanley Sound.
This segment aired on October 21, 2022.
