How improving people's health makes the economy around them even stronger

According to new data from the Center for Health Information and Analysis, Black and Hispanic residents were 60% and 110% more likely to visit the emergency room for non-emergency conditions, respectively.

Dr. Claire-Cecile Pierre, associate chief medical officer and vice president of community heath equity at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, and Vasundhra Sangar, vice president of government affairs at Associated Industries of Massachusetts.
