What happens when migrant kids arrive in Massachusetts without family

12:28

Kids are vulnerable. All the more so when they're alone in an unfamiliar place. This is often the case for migrant children arriving in Massachusetts after they've crossed the U.S. southern border. We talk with Xan Weber, chief advancement officer and senior vice president at the International Institute of New England, about how many unaccompanied minors are in the state, what supports they need, and who's helping them.

This segment aired on February 15, 2023.
