Honoring indigenous communities in Gloucester and the North Shore

12:22

Efforts are underway to honor indigenous life and culture in Gloucester in the past, and present.

This year marks 400 years since English colonial settlers came to the land now known as Gloucester. To mark that event, the Cape Ann Museum is coordinating a city-wide effort through various exhibits and installments from now until the fall: it's called "Native Waters, Native Lands."

This segment aired on March 24, 2023.
