Ibram X. Kendi's 2016 book "Stamped from the Beginning, The Definitive History of Racist Ideas in America" already paints a picture of this country's history of race, racism and systems of oppression.  A new adaptation of the book is bringing those images to life. Artist and Boston University professor Joel Christian Gill put his own "stamp" on Kendi's work by creating a graphic novel based on "Stamped from the Beginning" that is being released today. The two authors spoke about their latest work on Radio Boston.

This segment aired on June 6, 2023.
