Framingham students return to class this week. How will it go with the ongoing bus driver shortage?

13:34

Wednesday is the first day of school in Framingham, and the district doesn't have enough bus drivers to meet the demand — there are no buses available for the city's middle and high schoolers.

Framingham Public Schools Superintendent Dr. Robert A. Trembley joins Radio Boston's Tiziana Dearing and WBUR's senior education reporter Carrie Jung to discuss what's happening in the city  and what can be done to ensure a smooth school year for everyone.

This segment aired on August 28, 2023.
