The MBTA wrestles with transparency

This week, the oft-embattled MBTA has secured a handful of wins: the Union Square branch of the Green Line Extension re-opened two days early, slow zones on the entire extension were lifted and plans for a temporary commuter rail platform in Lynn accelerated.

But the agency continues its struggle with its own opaqueness, evidenced by a transparency-oriented podcast episode featuring General Manager Phillip Eng that the MBTA posted, then abruptly removed from the Internet earlier this month.
