A letter signed by more than two dozen Harvard student groups last weekend argued Israel was "the only one to blame" for the Hamas attacks that killed more than a thousand Israelis.

Response to the letter was quick and fierce: several prominent Harvard alumni condemned it and a conservative group commissioned a box truck to drive around Harvard Square, displaying the names of signees of the letter and labeling them "Harvard's leading anti-Semites."

WBUR education reporter Max Larkin, who's been following the tensions at the University, joins Radio Boston.

This segment aired on October 16, 2023.
