Massachusetts' electric vehicle push is stuck in the mud. Charging stations are part of the reason

11:47

Massachusetts says we need to have nearly a million electric vehicles on the road by 2030 to help meet our climate goals.

Just one problem: where and how will we charge them? The state estimates we need 10,000 charging stations to accommodate the demand for that number of EVs. Right now, Massachusetts has fewer than 700.

Boston Globe reporter Aaron Pressman joins the show for another round of Tech Talk to discuss.

This segment aired on December 14, 2023.
