Voters in Milton will head to the polls tomorrow to cast ballots for or against a plan to comply with a 2021 state law requiring zoning for more multifamily homes in municipalities served by the MBTA. The referendum's outcome could trigger a legal battle with state officials over the future of housing policy in the commonwealth.

Lisa Alexander of Boston College Law School, Andrew Brinker of the Boston Globe and Chris Dempsey of the city planning firm Speck Dempsey join Radio Boston to discuss.

This segment aired on February 13, 2024.
