Sandwich celebrates 150th birthday of children's author Thornton Burgess

Children's author Thornton Burgess would have turned 150 this year. His hometown of Sandwich, Massachusetts is using the milestone to celebrate his legacy.

Radio Boston learns more about his life as an author and conservationist with Sandra Murray, reference librarian at the Sandwich Public Library, and Christie Lowrance, writer and author of "Nature's Ambassador: The Legacy of Thornton W. Burgess."
