Mayor Wu talks about navigating policy priorities and community pushback

Boston Mayor Michelle Wu joins Radio Boston to talk about how her administration is navigating tense community responses as her administration's attempts to push forward various policy priorities.

Among other recent initiatives, the mayor talked about efforts to redesign Blue Hill Avenue in Mattpan, as well as the city's decision to scrap a plan that would have moved students from the John D. O'Bryant School of Mathematics and Science in Roxbury to a new campus West Roxbury.

Gintautas Dumcius, a reporter with Commonwealth Beacon, and Boston Herald columnist Joe Battenfeld also joined the show to discuss the mayor's remarks.
