Massachusetts teen poets 'speak loud' at Teen Spoken Word Festival

For the first time, Mass Poetry is hosting a Teen Spoken Word Festival and poetry slam competition at GrubStreet Center in Boston this weekend.

The winners will represent Massachusetts at the Brave New Voices Festival in D.C. this summer.

Radio Boston is joined by Daniel Johnson, executive director of Mass Poetry, along with a Franklin High School student who is competing this weekend.
