About 35 million people in the U.S. work in STEM, or science, technology, engineering and mathematics, according to government data. But Black and Latino workers occupy less than 40% of those jobs.

Boston's Museum of Science has a vision for STEM in which everyone can fall in love with science and help shape our future. Radio Boston hears from Christine Cunningham, the senior vice president of STEM Learning at the Museum of Science, on how the organization is trying to get all kids interested in science.

This segment aired on May 14, 2024.
