Within the past month, the MBTA rolled out a new tap-to-pay fare collection system, announced plans for autumn service increases on multiple subway lines and cleared slow zones from the western portion of the Green Line. MBTA General Manager Phil Eng joins Radio Boston to share his message to riders and offer his vision for the system's future.

This segment aired on August 23, 2024.
