Exploring the state's electric vehicle charging infrastructure

13:09

Massachusetts had more than 70,000 registered electric vehicles at the end of last year, and state leaders want to increase that number several times over. But to power them, the state needs to increase the number of electric vehicle chargers, especially because potential EV buyers still report what's called "range anxiety."

Aaron Pressman and Sabrina Shankman of the Boston Globe decided to test the state's electric vehicle infrastructure. They hit the road in two electric vehicles to see how far they could get, and how easily they could charge up. They joined Radio Boston to discuss their findings.
