'I feel very silenced': Local Palestinian-Americans reflect on a tragic year

21:59

It's been one year since Hamas attacked Israel, killing around 1,200 people and taking more than 200 hostages. Israel's ensuing war in Gaza has killed at least 41,900 Palestinians and wounded more than 97,300, according to Gaza's Health Ministry. Thousands of Palestinians are unaccounted for and are believed to have been buried under the rubble.

WBUR's Radio Boston sat down with three local Palestinian-Americans to talk about the year since the war began. Guests include Laila Kassis, Sammy Nabulsi and Hannah Moushabeck.

This segment aired on October 8, 2024.
