Impress your holiday crowd with Nail the Cocktail's Passionate Brew

Claudiane Philippe is the creator of Nail the Cocktail. She joins The Common's Darryl C. Murphy to teach us an original cocktail recipe to try out over the holidays.

Passionate Brew Cocktail
What you'll need:
- 2 oz Passionfruit Juice
- 2 oz Spiced Rum**
- 1 oz Espresso
- ½ oz Lime Juice
- ½ oz Maple Syrup
- ⅛ tsp Vanilla Extract
- Dash of Cinnamon
- Crushed or Pebble Ice
**For a mocktail, replace the spiced rum with apple cider. This maintains the complex spiced flavor without altering the cocktail dramatically.
Steps:
- Add rum, passionfruit juice, espresso, lime juice, maple syrup and vanilla to a shaker with ice.
- Shake for 10 seconds.
- Pour into serving glass of your choosing, top off with crushed ice.
- Garnish your drink with a dash of cinnamon, dehydrated lime wheel and cinnamon stick.
- Enjoy!
