You can out-walk parts of the Green Line Extension
On portions of tracks adding up to more than a mile, Green Line Extension trains are moving at only 3 miles per hour. The MBTA says these slow zones are a response to recent tests that show portions of the tracks are narrowing. It's a problem that many transit experts say is unheard of for train lines this new.
