Why a 45-year-old tax law is back under the microscope
In recent weeks, Boston Mayor Michelle Wu and a municipal advocacy group have raised new questions about Proposition 2 1/2, the 45-year-old Massachusetts law that limits how much cities and towns can raise property taxes in a given year.
Evan Horowitz of Tufts University's Center for State Policy Analysis joined WBUR's Morning Edition to explain why the seemingly sleepy legislation is in the spotlight.
